Rates
Rate per person per day sharing: US$ 185.00; children between 2 and 12 at 50%; babies stay for free.

Cancellation Policy

  • 25-45 days prior to departure: 25% of travel cost
  • 14-25 days prior to departure: 50% of travel cost
  • 0-14 days prior to departure: 100% of travel cost

  • Customized guided walks “photographic / birding” from the lodge.
  • Cultural walks to the village of Kavalamanja which includes a visit to out local school where the kids will entertain you with a play and songs. (donations to the school will be appreciated).
  • Full use of all the facilities such as the pool, DStv, board games, etc.
  • Boat hire for fishing or photographic trips @ US$70.00 per “shift / session” which is from (06h00 to 11h00) or (14h00 to 18h00) *Fishing boats are inclusive of a trained guides, fuel and basic fishing tackle and bait *.
  • Sunset cruises @ US$20.00 p.p.
  • Customised guided walks in the GMA @ US$20.00 p.p.
  • Bar.
  • Boat transfers Luangwa Boma / Redcliff return @ US$160.00 per boat (boat seats 5).
  • Special boat trips into the Lower Zambezi National Park (Mpata Gorge). These are usually custom made and full day affairs which include a “braai” or picnic on the river bank @ US$100.00 per boat per day plus fuel. A visit to the Park requires ZAWA park entry permits @ US$20.00 p.p.p.day.

General Information:

Transportation - The lodge manager, Hugo Erfmann, will meet you at the village of Luangwa Boma. The scenic boat transfer from Luangwa Boma to Redcliff Zambezi Lodge takes about 35 minutes.

Departure Fee - A departure fee is payable when leaving Zambia by air.

Visa Requirements - Visas are only required for non-Commonwealth visitors, except for citizens from Ghana, Nigeria, Cyprus, Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

Currency - The official currency is the Zambian Kwacha. There is no limit to the importation of foreign currency, provided it is declared on arrival through a currency declaration form on entry into the country. International currency of choice is the US Dollar. Unfortunately no credit card facilities are available at the lodge.

Payments - All excursion and bar costs payable in US$ and Zambian Kwacha
