Zambezi River near the Mpata Gorge.

Redcliff Zambezi Lodge is situated on the Zambezi River's northern bank in the Zambezi Valley of Zambia. To the west, beyond the breathtaking Mpata Gorge, lies the magnificent Lower Zambezi National Park. Downstream from Redcliff Zambezi Lodge is the village of Luangwa Boma at the confluence of the Luangwa and Zambezi rivers near the upper reaches of Lake Cahora Bassa.

Activities offered by Redcliff Zambezi Lodge include game viewing in the surrounding Rufunsa Game Management Area and nearby Lower Zambezi National Park. Four of Africa's "Big Five" - elephant, buffalo, lion and leopard - are often seen. The area is also home to an abundance of other wildlife. The diverse bird life offers outstanding bird-watching opportunities, both along the river and in the surrounding woodland and riparian forest.

Redcliff Zambezi Lodge takes its name from the magnificent red cliffs of Kenyemba Hill across the Zambezi River.

The lodge and nearby areas are best known for superb tiger fishing in truly stunning surroundings. Other fish found in the Zambezi River include vundu, Cornish Jack, silver catfish, bottlenose and several bream species.
